How Does Zugah Work?
A step-by-step guide to our innovative trade finance platform
Group & Verify
We onboard real African SMEs (starting in Ghana) and verify them through business registration, tax ID, and export credentials.
Create a Legal Investment Vehicle (SPV)
A regulated structure (e.g. in Ghana or Mauritius) holds collective trade rights or export revenue streams.
Tokenize Export Revenue
Projected income (from cocoa, cashew, etc.) is converted into digital shares, made available to global investors.
Enable Trading
These shares are listed on partner exchanges like NGX, BRVM, or via alternative platforms (DEX, crowdfunding portals).
Profits Distributed
SMEs receive working capital. Investors receive profit shares. A percentage is reinvested for future rounds.
Where Does the Money Go?
Complete transparency in our profit sharing model
Direct to SMEs
Goes directly to vetted SMEs in their working capital pool
Reinvestment
Reserved for next season, R&D, and audits
Platform Maintenance
Used for compliance, customer support, and platform maintenance
💥 Zugah profits only if the SMEs succeed — aligned incentives

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Zugah's platform and processes
Is this a government program?
No, Zugah is a private initiative. We work closely with government agencies, but remain fully independent.
Can I withdraw my investment?
Yes, shares are tradable or redeemable (depending on structure and partner exchange rules).
Are SMEs guaranteed returns?
No. This is real trade, not loans. However, collective structure reduces risk and improves reliability.
